Given how low the wages are in Vietnam compared to the rest of the world, and given the globalist economic situation where Vietnam is making most of its money from exports, raising the minimum wage will probably not have that big of an impact on investments from overseas. However, 6% increase in labor costs is a lot for cafes and restaurants. Because when you increase minimum wage by 6%, you put pressure on all wages to go up (as people want to be compensated fairly).

I visited Da Nang in April 2024 on the 2nd leg of a North to South Vietnam trip. For 3 of 5 days temps were close to 100 degrees F during the day. Locals only came out after sunset. Keep the weather in mind😊
